HSS wiring phase issue

My HSS strat has a Fralin Blues special in the neck and Middle. Middle is RWRP.
Bridge is a Lil’ Screamin Demon
I wired it ages ago and position 2 was out of phase.
I just have a basic 5 way switch 2 tones 1 volume

I assumed I wired it incorrectly but it didn’t bother me so I’ve only just got around to fixing it when I changed the strings.

The bridge humbucker has the red and white wires taped off.

Green and bare wired from the bridge pickup were on the pot and black was on the 5 way switch.

I thought swapping the green on to the switch and the black to the pot with the bare wire would cure the issue but alas no.

Where am I going wrong forum gods?
I can solder enough for things not to break but my understanding of basic electronics is erm... below basic shall we say.

I think you should have left the bare wire where it was (earth wire) but reversed green and black as you have done

That might be my poor explanation.
Black and earth are on the volume pot.
Green is on the lug on the 5 way switch.
Wondering if there is an option with the red and white wires to fix position 2.
