I've been thinking about getting one of these or something similar for a while, and finally @rivercider listed one that piqued my interest. It arrived in the week (great packaging and comms with rivercider), and I spent Friday night restringing it with 11's and giving it a shine and a setup.

Wow, it's very very good, lots of usuable tones in the Classic 57's and it's fortunately factory made with my preferred 50's style wiring. It has a lovely plain top with some shapely grain and some unusual figuring on the lower bout, the binding is also understated and lovely. The neck binding is perfect, and the white pinstripe in the top binding is a nice touch. Think I'm going to get me a pickguard though. It also came stock with an ABR1, it fits lovely alongside my 2 Les Pauls. It's also flawlessly made for all you naysayers out there, Gibson FTW! Spent last night switching between this and my R8, heaven!

Thanks guys, it's got a deep and rich tone, I'm very impressed. I'm sure it's slightly heavier than my R8 though!

Glad you're liking it Al, it was kinda wasted on me! 
Lovely pickups though, I'll be getting those again in something else at some point.

Just ordered one, now got to work out how to fit it and not damage owt!!
