Been using the wife’s MacBook to run logic, but with a full recorded song it’s running out of processing power. 

Pref something post 2014 with as big a screen as possible.

    I have a late 2013 (maybe 14 I'll check) 13'' macbook pro i7 16GB ram - so the top spec, that's spare if that's interest to you, I've used it as my mobile pro-tools machine for a while (hence why it's spare and not being used any more) and it's been doing 24 track live recording (although limited plugins as it's live) with no issues, don't know how that relates to logic
