Anyone bought online from
them recently? Something in the sale has caught my attention and says in stock but I’m a bit apprehensive given their recent financial difficulties.

I’ve not had a credit card for about 15 years! I’d rather not ask my Mrs to but it on hers

I was thinking about buying something from them but ended up getting another store to price match as I was worried about it.

Do you have Paypal? They offer decent buyer protection as well.

That’s a good point. PayPal could be a good way forward.

I always use PayPal now for all online purchases. They will pay up to £15 return shipping costs if you don't like what you have bought. There is a limit on how many times you can do this in a year.

Are they not in new ownership ?

I can understand a new owner, clearing out select stock, for one reason or another, as they create their own stock profile and raise appropriate funds - But with new owners, then there should not be any issue

As others have said any credit card payment and/or paypal should offer extra protection
