Will they not replace it? The 3124+ at the studio I use would blow them about once a year and AFAIK API always replaced them.

I think they might but by internet accounts, I’d have to send the faulty one in first, then pay $75 (/postage/tax).... so finding one in EU may be easier.

studiocare have them for £115 which is even more.

at this point tempted to build soundskultor sk25 copies and be done with it for much less money - but thought I’d see what’s out there.

It’s silly these opamps seem to have such a high failure rate - your story is yet another anecdotal confirmation..

I think SX Pro are the UK distributors now -- worth asking them.
