Explain this Les Paul eBay listing to me?

Listed as a '70s Les Paul, relic'ed to the point of being barely recognisable, appalling neck repair, and it's nearly £5k with four hours to go:

Has the seller misidentified it as a '70s model when it's actually a proper vintage one, or something?

It's not even clear to me that the upper part of the neck and headstock actually come from the same guitar as the rest!
