This arrived today (sorry for the crap pics but I was in a rush to play it)

Suhr Classic Pro from Peach - it’s their own spec:

ML Single Coils
Thornbucker+ In the bridge
Roasted Maple Neck

Holy shit, these things are good......! I can’t quite explain how good the neck feels, but it’s like I’ve had the guitar forever, and it’s so easy to play.

Dene at Peach was amazing and helped me (agreed with me) on choosing the right fretboard, and I think it looks stunning.

Haven't had chance to get it through an amp yet, only Helix Native, so that’s something to look forward to, but I’m one heck of a happy bunny.

Will do better pics when the weather is nicer.

Lovely, they seem to need no adjustment out of the box too unlike Fenders right up to the Ultra Strat  Been contemplating one of these myself but SSS.

Agreed. I had an Alt T last year but had to sell it due to circumstance - so that or a classic t will definitely be on the cards at some point.

Amazingly well - I was a bit concerned it would be too much, but they’re absolutely spot on.

Yes, the set up is bang on for my personal tastes, and it was perfectly in tune when I took it out of the case.

Thanks Yeah, I was never going to find that spec second hand, so had to go new. Peach nailed it with these.

I get where you’re coming from but double white humbucker on a Strat looks weirdly forced. Ideally zebra but double black is still preferable to double white. And never with a nickel cover.

Great guitars. I would really struggle to part with my Classic Pro. 
As I alluded to someone in a PM or thread recently, they’re like a really great Strat with all of the annoyances and niggles removed with no tonal sacrifices. 
Proper good, often overlooked and possibly about as good a non-Fender “Strat” as you’ll find. Although I prefer them massively to a lot of CS Fenders I’ve owned or played.

I've never owned a guitar that I can't put down - it just makes me want to play all the time, which a lovely feeling! I haven't tried any custom shop Fenders, and whilst i'd love to own one at some point in the future, I can't see it being any form of replacement for this.
