EVH Wolfgang Standard - Opinions?

Morning folks

Just wondered if anyone has any experience of these? Specifically the ones made in Indonesia by Fender: not the old Peaveys.

What's the build quality like? Apparently they're excellent value for money.
Tempted by one SH at c.£300

I've only played a few of the hard tail ones, but I was really impressed. The neck is lovely. Only issue is the pickups are quite strident and if you don't like them, it can be a bit of a pain to find replacements.

I missed out on a deal on one a year or so ago, and it still bugs me.

I was tossing up between the MIM one and a Charvel a few weeks ago, everyone in the EVH owners group I joined said not to bother with the MIM but to go Indonesian or Chinese. Ended up with a Charvel but still have an inkling for s Wolfgang.

i bought one a couple of years ago - the fender made in china model and its exceptional. lovely neck - decent fret work-  you do have to like the pickups though.

My Bro-in law bought one as a backup to his Music Man Axis. He changed the bridge pickup out for an SD JB and in the past year or so he has actually gigged it more than the Axis. So you could say he really likes it!!
