I partscastered something a bit like this, but really, really shit. I'm hoping to get it to a great tech to, ahem, finish the thing... 

That just looks like a wonderful guitar. Posh, for a tele, but just perfect. Unfortunately, while I can justify the cost of some fettling, I can't drop 1k on a guitar...

Damn, almost just right, but that gold hardware is too much.

Considering that it’s about £700 less than the orange USA-built version they did as a limited edition last year it feels like a bargain tbh. Really nice.

For me, it's the pickups - I'd so rather a hot tele bridge (in a proper tele bridge) and the humbuggy in the neck. 

Gold = good.
