I just looked into my guitar and found out it's one of the very first Squier strat's made in Korea - it's an E10 serial in silver, so built in Young Chang. I took it apart to see more and the neck pocket clearly shows it's not laminate, but actually solid body. No wonder I've always thought it gave an MIM Fender Standard (not Squier) a run for the money.
The neck is gorgeous too. Stripped out the electrics to rebuild, but don't have lots of cash. Anyone have a recommendation for someone who builds and sells scratchplates with electrics as a bundle?
