Just wondering what everyone is charging for guitar lessons ...I haven't put my rate up for a few years ..I normally do 30min lessons ..I feel that's enough to get across what I need to

£33 per lesson but payable as 4 lessons upfront at once.

Don't really do 30 min lessons but if I did it'd be £23, same as above, paid in blocks of 4.

I'm still doing Zoom lessons until Sept then will consider returning to in-person but alternate weeks i.e one week Zoom/one week in-person and reduce the amount of numbers per day.

  • Used to be £25/hour, £12/30 mins. I'd probably do £20 for 45 mins these days as students always took 15 minutes at least to pack up gear and chat after the lesson.

I’d take two 30 min lessons back to back and save a quid :)

Yeah I know what you mean...and sometimes they get 45 mins anyways..I find Skype good for that cos no packing guitars away ect ..although I don't really mind that..

I pay £30 per hour (SW London).

we switched to Skype of course

After the lesson, He emails really good videos of the salient points.

All in all, well worth it.

It's a good idea...the Skype ones I do I get them to record it then they can go back through it in their own time...

You need to put that up a bit mate! :)

I'm charging the fairly standard £15/30 mins £25/hour here. Small town and it's the going rate; not sure if I'd get the custom if I hiked it up much although may raise it slightly at the end of the year.

I'm also mostly online at the moment, although doing a couple of lessons in my garden and using an empty office in town which is well aerated and big enough to distance in - got about 3 students coming there at the moment. One of my students works in medical supplies and was kind enough to give me a load of decent cleaning stuff  =)
