Right. I'm away now all weekend at a festival so I'll sort a date on Tuesday night when I'm back in tge venue.

I'm aiming a Sunday afternoon for definite.

We'll set some up on the stage and some on the main floor if needs be. Got a few four ways and may need to chop and change what is switched on as I think there may be a cab shortage.

have you thought about what you want to do, or is it more a case of just turning up and seeing what happens ?

So far, just 4-6 hours so people can turn up and try out amps that will be about and just general banter I guess.

that would save me having to bring mine..

It would be interesting to get a Mic setup and get some proper recordings of the amps/cabs and knocking together a comparison video. I can happily bring my DSLR to record the video.

I could be tempted depending on the date - I'm guessing the evh 5153 would be the obvious amp to bring along and see how it compares to the other gain monsters

I can bring my DSLR too. I can always ask my bass player tonight too as he's the soundman at our venue.

Just need 1 mic setup on a 4x12 cab with something that can capture it.. I've got my mac but don't have an interface for it. With half a dozen people coming someone mist have  a recording setup.

If I do make it (will depend on gig commitments on that Sunday) I can bring a decent zoom recorder with a line in for a proper mic, plus my sm 57.

Then we can give the .wav files to sb with a DAW that can turn this into decent audio. Not ideal but good enough imho and more portable and easier to use than a laptop+DAW+sound hardware. Unless any of other attendees have a proper portable set up.
