Has anyone tried one of these in person?  Thoughts?

I'm really tempted to buy this one from Peach Guitars.

  • I love offset guitars but these turn me off greatly.

If you like it, I reckon it's great. I played an epi korina explorer of my friends years back and it was stunning, resonant, good sustain, light.

I love it, it’s also cheaper than I expected too which is a bonus.  I’ll certainly look out for a used one down the line.

That's the only reason why I haven't bought it - yet.  We all know what buying new means.

Other than that, I like everything about its specs, and looks.

At £600 used these would be a bargain I think.

I think it looks great.  I'd be tempted if it wasn't too heavy and I liked the neck profile.

Fender states neck shape is "u-shape". I have a korina guitar, and it doesn't feel overly heavy for what it is. Can't speak for the Fender Tele that's the subject of the OP.

But I note that this is limited to 125 units in the whole of Europe Middle East & Africa. If you want one get your skates on to buy new, because I doubt you'll see any on the second hand market. And if you do, they won't be as low as £600.

Thanks, a Fender U-shape is probably reasonably chunky, which is good. :)  I've also owned a few korina guitars and it seems pretty similar to mahogany, weight-wise. i.e. generally not too heavy, but variable.  Jazzmasters tend to be on the heavy side though, that's a big ol' body.

I’m surprised how much it sounds like a tele, different body wood than normal and P90’s to boot and it still sounds like a tele.
So I’m kinda thinking what’s the point?
yes it looks cool but if it still sounds just like a tele why not buy a tele, I guess the ergonomics would make this comfier to play?

If I buy one will I be able to play it like the guy with the fabulous hair in the video? Or will I also need the fabulous hair?

That was sort of the conclusion I came to when I made a parts telemaster. Just a large bodied overweight Tele. Only thing I liked over a normal Tele was the forearm contour.
