New Fender Telecaster and it's an oddball for sure

I was on the hunt for a Telecaster with humbuckers, wasn't bothered about Wide Range and original magnets, or vintage correct. But, I did want something that was vastly different to all my other Telecasters models that I own, these include Fender Kotzen, Bravewood, Nash, a Squier Classic Vibe Custom and a few others I have kicking around the house, including Esquires and variations on the Telecaster theme.

So this thing popped up used on a site and I took a punt. I knew they were usually heavy, which is good as I wanted a robust guitar and something solid, as I'm used to heavier guitars. I also wanted something that was totally different and I like double bound Teles, so this ticked a lot of my boxes.

It weighs just over 9lbs and it is pretty different to all my other guitars. As it has three humbuckers, so my only guitar in the horde with this setup and a vintage style trem.

I've seen a few about, they are either on Reverb or eBay.

This guitar is insanely resonant, might be the huge metal pickguard adding to it. But boy, does it ring out!
