Mick greens son brad contacted me out of blue as he’d seen my pirates and he’s kindly made this video talking about his dads iconic guitar

    Wonderful to see that guitar again. I shared the bill with The Pirates on a couple of occasions back in the late 70s and remember Mick playing it through a Marshall stack and it was glorious. We were playing with them on an Irish tour in Dublin and I remember standing in the wings listening and watching everything he did, amazed as he sounded like two guys playing at once. Thanks for posting this!

    Nice one @jamesoliver1234, that's great that Brad got in touch. I also remember seeing and hearing The Pirates many years ago. Two gigs at the Top Rank in Cardiff. I was mesmerised/gobsmacked/blown away by Mick's playing.

    Part of me hoped that if you're a guitarist, you play a Fender and your surname is Green that you'd name your son Foam or Sea.
