I think what happens with a lot of these is that the mods begin with the best intentions.. but after a month of looking at the final relic, the owner must become remorseful and realise its ruined for them lol.

Seems like an enormous waste of effort - not to mention a half-decent guitar - just to disguise a partial headstock break.

I don't hate it, to be honest.  There's no pretending it's playing wear, that's for sure.  But he's kind of missing the point of that wraparound bridge.

Lol - I had a similar thought, pretty sure one of Nickelback had a Gibson Flying V in this style many moons ago - I vaguely remember fawning over it in Total Guitar, I think.
