Small bedroom multitrack wanted

Hi. Would anyone have a old mixing desk they are looking to sell on. I am looking for one for my grandson for bedroom recording. He’s new to all this so don’t need anything too technical and maybe 4 or 6 channels so he can interface between instrument and computer. Thanks

Ok bud...welcome ...you are probably looking for an Interface unit, these tend not to be mixers as such, more of unit that sits in between the instrument Or mic and the PC.

Basic models have one or 2 inputs, but this is more than adequate unless he’s recording a whole band at the same time, the mixer element of it is within the software , or DAW .....digital audio workstation.

Most come with some sort of preloaded software that you install on the Pc, most young kids get to grips with this easy !

look out for units from Focusrite and Presonus, they tend to be popular.
