The modern day one man band

There are many examples of youtubers playing multiple instruments and doing their own backing singing

Most of them are very good however I always this form of performance with a hint of sadness and it strikes me as being an antisocial way of performing  (I cant think of a better description but I hope you can understand where im coming from)

It must be a very tedious way of performing.

you cant do it live and you seem to be stuck in only ever been able to perform from your bedroom.

It seems to me musicians are shying away from meeting up with others to make an actual band in preference to being alone.

I might just be an out of touch old man with a depleted sense of optimism who is just missing the point

You are not alone...err....well if you get it....I work much better in a collaboration scene than on my own...Ive just started a colab with a female singer songwriter from the US and a male singer from Ireland, its taken about a month to complete the song but its been great way to work, each of us challenging each other to do different things from playing to mixing...
