Bluesbreaker pedal advice

So after plenty of research I think I'm after a bluesbreaker style pedal.

Can't afford the King of Tone but like the idea of a 2-in-1 pedal (although not at all set on that).

Prince of Tone new is $148 so in my budget but can't afford more than about £125.

Any suggestions of what go look for?
Wampler Pantheon
Prince of Tone
JHS Morning Glory
Snouse Blackbox

Anything else worth considering?

Get a Fredric Effects Blue Monarch.

I recently A/B tested this with a mates King of Tone that he has gigged with for years. He was so impressed that he bought a Blue Monarch the next day.

I do, but as I haven't finished my old fuzzdog kit I imagine it'd sit waiting to be done for ages!

  • There is no doubt that the Frederick Blue Monarch is a great Pedal (as everything I’ve tried or bought from them is) but the Mooer Blues Crab does a good job for peanuts

The Nux Morning Star is the other budget end one, has a Shine mode to brighten the tone on the hoof as well.

  • I ideally don't want a budget one as I had the Moore Blues Crab once and, whilst it was good, it didn't last long

    Nobels ODR-1?

I don't know how similar they are to people who like them, but for me they're both not-positively-bad-sounding low-gain overdrive pedals that don't actually do anything interesting at all...

I am very tempted. Not keen on the graphic (not that ot really matters) but deciding if that, Amp11 or Prince of Tone will be better in case I want to move them on some time

morning glory (if you can stretch v4 so you can use the red button option which basically gives you 2 pedals in 1) the snouse is worth it too, but the ball ache of waiting list and stuff, just get the JHS, it's probably the best bang for buck you can get.

I'm really keen to hear the Fredrick Effects blues breaker though now it's been released, so don't discount that, just can't comment as I've not played it yet, but cut to the chase and buy the JHS

super super pedal, can't believe it took me so long to come around to it, but very different sound and feel to the v1 blues breaker

  • I’m sure I read that the Tone City King of Blues is a Bluesbreaker and Klon in one box. Not sure how true that is...

I think it's a clone of a the King of Tone. Partially tempted for the price.
