Clip-on or something you plug into like a floor pedal?

    TC Unitune for a clip-on
Korg Pitchblack or Boss TU-3 for a floor tuner

Just sold mine but the Strobostomp HD is the best and most feature packed (features you would actually use) tuner out there and is a great price.
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

    Floor pedal.... Not clip on.

Honestly, get one of each. If you’re ever in a situation such as a open mic where you’re unlikely to be using your pedalboard then a clip-on really is incredibly useful.

TU-2 or TU-3. Cheap, reliable and more than accurate enough.

  • Tu-3. No competition.

Accurate, robust, will outlive you and has a great buffer in it. Its also cheap as chips for what it is.

I bought a clip on Ernie ball flextune thing? tuner recently, its ok but considering it was half the price of the boss, the battery hardly lasts and it can only seem to tune to standard E which is pretty messed up.
The only easy day, was yesterday...

  • BOSS TU-3 is a staple of countless pedal boards and will do you proud. It's bulletproof. The Peterson Strobostomp HD is more versatile, probably a tad more accurate and easier to read if that's important to you (I have both), but more expensive.

  • Peterson Strobostomp hd is very good if funds allow. Does way more than I need, but its pretty  :)

I have a couple of Snark clip-ons, and they’re decent enough.

  • I have a Korg Pitchblack Advance: it's quick, accurate, easy to use, and about half the price of the Strobostomp
Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I’ve had a TC Polytune on my board for as long as I can remember.

I've had a Korg Pitch black polyohonic - you can tune all strings with one strum. I've had it years, but I don't think they do the polyohonic version any longer.

TC Electronics PolyTune 2 or 3s look similar though

If you want to play a guitar that is in tune, get
yourself a Peterson StroboStomp.  Worth every penny it costs.

More importantly a guitar that stays in tune. I have two guitars one stays in tune better than the other one ;)

I just use a cheap and cheerful Donner DT-1. £22 from Amazon. I've compared it to various Snarks, a D'Addirio soundhole tuner, the one on my Zoom CDR70, a Fishman preamp and my son and they all give the same note so they're either all equally wrong or it' sspot on :)

No love for the Turbo Tuner? Last time I looked it was the most accurate on specs alone, and similar price to Peterson. Also comes in a mini version. I’ve been using various versions for years (desktop, ST200, ST300 mini) and can’t imagine what would make me switch away from them.

  • TU-3 for me, but I still miss the TU-12 which was my first tuner love. I like the proper VU meter
    That Vox one looks cool

My favourite is the old Korg DT-10.
Fast, accurate and doesn't waver all over the place.
    The buffer's well regarded too.
