Lego Ideas is for public submissions for potential new products made from existing Lego pieces, but they often tweak the designs after the concept is approved.

I would assume Lego & Fender have agreed it’s a great idea (especially after the successful piano release earlier this year) and will make significant changes to it before they release it officially.
