Re: Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads. His best known Telecaster was a regular Sixties example. In early photographs of the band, it had the stock single coil neck/Rhythm pickup. By 1981, it had a humbucker. 

In some photographs, the entire baseplate of the bridge/Treble pickup is visible, suggesting that the bridge plate had been either shortened or replaced. (Presumably, to minimise feedback at stage volume.)
