Your 'first chorus pedal ever'? Were you not alive in the 1980s?

I bought a Chorus pedal early 80s. Didn't like it. To be honest I've never used pedals.

Don’t let that stop you from making a suggestion!
    Lol

Although there is a reason I said that ;).

I actually owned the MXR Stereo Chorus pedal formerly belonging to Nick Beggs, and possibly used on it :). A friend of mine does now...

2 Votes for purple rain surely that is the first song to play then?

You need a Chorus pedal in the right position in the FX chain, ideally after the Verse pedal but before the Bridge pedal.

Yeah, it was going to be Nirvana's "In Bloom", but this is a good excuse to learn Purple Rain for the first time.

I ended up not getting a chance to unbox the pedal yet.  So I'm still taking requests!

Probably my favourite song to play with a bit of chorus...
Good song.  I've never heard it before.

More to the point. What chorus pedal did you get. I've tried a few but settled on the MXR Analog Chorus (The sky blue one).

    I was waiting for this.

I was alive in the 80s but came of age in the 90s.  There's very little about 80s music outside of punk and some indy that has ever made me want to play guitar.  (Wasn't the greatest time for me, maybe has something to do with it.)

It's just one of those $30 Behringer pedals.  I'm still a pedal noob and chorus wasn't on my radar until I started getting into playing electric more (I've played a lot more acoustic).

I thought Purple Rain sounded more like he'd used a Flanger. I maybe need to go and have a listen to it again.
