Left: Oil City Masterwound PAT 63 humbuckers: matched pair of Zebra vintage long leg, Gibson 50mm spaced. Vintage spec US plain enamel wire, maple spacers, rough cast magnets ... the full nine yards.

Right: Oil City Masterwound Blackbird set: We changed wire rolls between the neck and bridge pickups being wound ... and because of their transparent bobbins it's possible to see that the neck pickup's copper wire is a fraction lighter in colour than the bridge. You'd have to be told about this to notice really ... but we couldn't let these out at full price. As these pickups age the wire colour should even out it has on pickups like this in the past.
These are the normal/current Blackmachine B6 spec: 52mm bridge, 50mm neck and four conductor, black triangular feet baseplates. ... as they were intended to go out with our last batch of pickups destined for B6 guitars!
