I bought one of these a few weeks ago for £135 including shipping to the UK just out of interest from Bax Music in Holland  and wasn’t disappointed It’s outstanding.
Fazley FRC618BK Semi-Acoustic Guitar Black

Take it back to the '60s with the Fazley FRC618BK, a semi-hollow guitar with a highly distinctive sound that's reminiscent of the Byrds and the Beatles. It offers a classic look and sound at a very attractive price.
£135.00

It is with the obligatory pickup change. PLUS! the R9 doesn't have a brown blackwood fretboard  :3

Grab one before John Hall discovers they exist... he will litigate these and Bax to oblivion.

He should get back to writing decent songs with Daryl Oates and give up on all that other nonsense.

    HaHa,
I stumbled across this guitar a few weeks ago while looking for a electronic drum kit for my son.
I was checking out prices they were cheaper than Thomann for the kit.
I did a YouTube search for videos of the guitar but not much on there really and already have the Harley Benton 6 and 12 string versions and there 4 string bass so thought for £135 worth taking a punt as Bax do a free return collection service.
The build finish and SQ is outstanding and it plays like a dream.
Ive put new strings on it and will replace the nut at some point because it’s cut a bit deeper than I like but other than that it’s superb.
It really is a lovely guitar.
    My son wants one.

Get in quick, Rickenbacker aren't slow in defending their trademark designs.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

    "Reminiscent of The Byrds..."?

    Presumably they're referring to Crosby's Gretsch ;)

    More likely to be
    Roger McGuinn’s Rickenbacker.

Thanks for the info... I was actually being ironic!

Thing is, it's highly unlikely to sound like McGuinn's Rickenbacker. Not least because McGuinn's Rickenbacker is a 12-string. Plus, his Ric had a pre-amp (Treble Booster) in it and studio recordings were shoved through various compressors. Even genuine Rickenbacker 12-strings don't sound like McGuinn's without processing, especially newer ones with the 'Hi-Gain' pickups.
