I'm sure a few forumites have bought guitars from Alan George on Facebook, he's been having a bit of sell-off due to ill health and I couldn't resist this for less than £75:


Impressed with the build quality but it isn't playable at the minute, due to a few issues (reflected in the price):

1. The action is too low.
2. The treble strings choke out on the first few frets, so the truss rod will need adjusting.
3. The frets are manky.

I'm also looking forward to checking under the pickguard, to see if there's a rout for a neck pickup!

    Very nice. I always like to see what Alan has on offer, but frustratingly I've always managed to miss his specials.
    I'll get a round to buying a 'real' guitar one day.
