Switching 1/4” socket ?

 I’m fitting a loaded scratch plate with active pickups to a mate’s Strat.  I’m trying to find a 1/4” socket that also has switch terminals, to only connect the battery when a cable is inserted.

I can’t find one anywhere - well, nothing that will fit into a Strat anyway.

Anyone know where I could source one ?

Ta.  Never occurred to me to use a stereo socket to switch !

Leave some wiggle room on the wires to the socket, it’s slightly bigger than a mono socket and can be a ball ache to get it in a strat Jack socket recess. You will need to find the best position before tightening it all up...

but yes, stereo sockets for simple switching on pedals, amps and guitars!...
