It's not original to the guitar, IMO, but it's old.

Mark, had the plate off today- the colour underneath is remarkably vivid, as you'd expect.

Yes it does show the 'true' colour - Lots of character in that Tele + good pics

Seriously, absolute stunner. I played a 66 that had worn similarly with the tobacco on the front and target on the rear. That was a maple cap, but it was huge sounding
