nice wraparound bridges - for a 10"radius

What's Hot
I'm looking at nice quality wraparounds for one of my current builds and am quite taken with the Schaller Signum

its a 12" radius.  - will this be any good for a 10" radius board or any other bridges to consider ?

cheers

A slightly flatter bridge radius actually makes a lot of sense and many manufacturers do it.   10" radius board with 12" radius bridge works well.

Don't forget that your string heights are not usually equal.  Bass side usually a smidge higher. The flatter radius helps get a better  graduation on this increase.

Also the strings don't follow the radius of the board unless its compound radius...  because of the increasing distance between the strings.

The geometry is  not as simple as saying the bridge should match the fretboard radius

And you can always get the nut files out to tweak as needed

Thanks for the advice as ever Wez.    I’ll go with the signum on this build.
