Greetings folks,
My doubleneck build is coming on relatively nicely - still an irritating number of little errors/fixes (you know, tuner holes too close to edge, neck width at nut an awkward size, sand-through of stained faceplate). However, overall going well.
My question relates to spraying clear nitro over waterslide decals that I am in the process of ordering for the headstock (I decided against MoP inlay due to time constraints).
How many clear coats of nitro would you spray (rattlecan) once the decal has been applied? The faceplate veneer has already been stained and has about 6 coats of x3 sprays. I obviously don't want to sand through the decal when polishing up the headstock.
Many thanks,
Adam

There's no answer I'm afraid, you just need to keep spraying until you think the transfer is buried.
