What a load of rubbish!  That repair should be good for the life of the guitar, the join will be stronger than the original wood.

It's so minor, a lot of people wouldn't even have mentioned it, kudos to the seller for doing so

Actually re reading this, it really was meant to show how little maintenence would be needed for such a good guitar and at a great price. 

It may well be a lifetime fix done already. Even if it is not, the maintence would be minor. 

It was never intended to devalue the guitar. It is already at a great price!

You are still going on about ‘maintenance’, there won’t be any related to the repair, it was a silly thing to say especially on someone’s for sale thread
