Finally a NGD for me

I havent bought a guitar for about a decade now.. As much as I get GAS when perving online at lovely instruments (ohh err) I have been pretty happy with my lot.. BUT since the first day I tried a 336 I always wanted one for a long time (probably about 11 years)..  And now I finally have one...

And its a gooden     Sadly there wernt any new ones about and actually this is the only second hand one I could find in this country (theres a few around Europe but what with Brexit looming I thought it best not to risk that)... There was a new 356 I was going to buy from GAK but it sold on the day I went to buy it (was that one of you      )

Cheers.. They are awesome arent they.. Those necks..  And I think I prefer the chambered out solid body style... Never wanted a 335 cos I dont really like big guitars so a 336 was the perfect choice for that I think.

Fantastic. I still believe it's the best guitar Gibson have ever made. I've had mine 15 years now and I've never played a better electric.

I think there are 3 of us on here now

I think these are some of the nicest gibsons produced recently. Don’t know why they didn’t take off that much.

I am also on the lookout for the fancier 356 (gotta love the headstock binding ).

Hehe, yeah I think mine is a 2001 or 2002. I got it with a combination of 21st-birthday cash and min-wage summer job funds; almost half a life ago now...!

From what I have been reading 2002 was the first year even though there are some older prototypes around...

And yes... They are amazing guitars.. From the first day I ever played on which was in about 2010 I just knew I had to have one some day.. And that day has come    

They really are the perfect guitar for me.. Like a cross between a LP and a 335..  Whats not to like   

And thanks one and all.. I really am very happy with this purchase and will probably never need to buy another guitar again.
