Jazzmaster HH pickguards

Ok so I took my Squier Affinity Jazzmaster into the shop to get the stock humbuckers changed to Irongear humbucker sized P90s, but the chrome covers on the Irongears don't fit the holes in the existing pickguard. 

I would like to keep the chrome covers on the new pickups because I like the look of them. 

The two options are to file the pickguard to get them to fit (the guitar tech, not me), or to buy a new pickguard. But the risk there is that it might only fit uncovered pickups, and it's a bit of a minefield ordering pickguards from eBay etc. 

I don't want to spend huge amounts, so can anyone recommend a decent pickguard that would fit the bill, or shall I just get the existing one filed?

You can file the holes but you'll get a better finish if they are routed to size using a template. Most techs should be able to do that for you.

I have gotten some stuff off Earlpilanz on EBay and the fit and finish were great. 

The most recent one was a tort one, which looks comparable to what I have seen on higher end Fenders, though not of Spitfire quality.

He does custom stuff now as well

Reshaping the corners of the pickup cut-outs in the stock pickguard is a reversible modification in the sense that the original, open-bobbin pickups could be reinstated in future. 

Third party pickguards can not be guaranteed to align correctly with all of the fastening screw holes already drilled into the guitar body.
