Anybody mixed Gigrig and Diago adaptors?

I currently use a diago powerstation with a few gigrig distributors and virtual batteries.  I also use a few diago isolators and 18v adaptors - no problems here.

I just bought 2 second hand Evenflos, which have been modified to output 2.1mm center-negative dc.

I'm wondering if these are broken - but it seems unusual both of them do it:

They seem incapable of providing enough current - I am trying to power my Strymon Timeline - this works fine just on the diago or it's own power supply, but will not even power on with the gigrig in the middle!  The evenflos can provide 55mA to power my overdrives and tuner, but this drops to 7mA when trying the timeline.

Gigrig pretty much said they cannot help as I'm not using a generator, which I suppose is fair enough, so are these faulty or am I being stupid?

Doesn't the timeline need about 300mA?

Yes, I measured it at 220 though.  The evenflos are capable of 1A and a bit more for surges.

How are you plugging it in? Are you going Diago, Distributor, Evenflo?

    Yes!

I have tried it Diago Evenflo and even original Strymon power supply to evenflo - no good.

All of these supplies work without the evenflo...

Then it does indeed look like the Evenflos are dud. If gigrig performed the mods they might take them back to examine them. Dan has been nothing but brilliant with me even on stuff I bought used.

I've read Timeline uses more if you are controlling it with MIDI.

I think that's quite common, but I'm not using midi!

Surely they cannot both be broken?!

I use a diago powerstation to feed all my pedals. I used to have a mobius and a timeline plugged in + 3-4 pedals. Tried a few gigrig options and ended up with the timelord adapters. Worked like a charm. These days I have a h9 and still use the timelord for it.
