It is just me or does the new GM logo look like it's a new Adobe Creative Cloud app?

It really does. I’m quite surprised that GM are still a thing. I thought that America was so great now that all they had left of a car industry was Ford making F150s and everyone else drove Japanese, Korean or Malaysian cars.

I'm hoping this means that I get a car included in my Adobe subscription.

  • Very odd logo, doesn't shout "car" or "electric vehicle" or anything that makes any sense to me.

I saw this the other day, which is vaguely relevant here.

Even though you know just how it’s going to go, it’s fascinating to watch.

For the money you probably should.

The one I was a bit surprised by was Canada; I never really thought of them as a major centre of car manufacturing.

After 50 years of the old logo, it looks like they’ve updated to a daring ‘80s look.

Feels like a logo that's going to look really old fashioned really soon. So I guess it suits a company like GM?

It looks as though the new logo is going to be linked to electric and hybrid vehicles.  In N America GM uses the brands Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick.  Chevrolet is the biggest selling brand.

This is most likely an additional brand with GMC still focussing on trucks.

Yep - the GM logo never goes anywhere near the front of a car, though does appear on some parts, iirc.
