Recently acquired but considering letting it go , It's in terrific order with a bit of patina after 40 years . Pro set up currently on 9s . Plays great and sounds huge , big sustain was what this was all about . All handmade like the wooden binding and solid silver inlays . You either know what it is , if not do a search for full history but basically a project between Terry Pack and Roger Bucknall who are still in business . As played by John Miles may not mean much to some !

One long term original owner before a friend briefly had it . Original owner fitted Badass Bridge . Di Marzio Super Distortion and PAF . Push/Pull coils taps were again fitted by 1st owner and done at Gordon Smith Workshop . It's had a Roland pickup so 3 little holes .

One of 67 made and this is one of 40 rosewood . Serial number is in 20s .

I will trade for a nice R9 Les Paul or negotiate some . Serious enquiries please PM . Thanks guys .

  • What's that thing behind the bridge? It almost looks like a truss-rod adjuster, but I can't see why it would be positioned there!

look at the seam of light coloured wood at the rear, I reckon the truss rod goes all the way and connects to the strap button

As the original owner, I can enlighten you - the truss rod extends from the pinwheel adjuster you noted, passes under the bridge and is anchored just beyond the lignum vitae nut.
The Future is simply time waiting to become History.

This deserves a bump...no £ to buy this, but clearly an exquisite piece of craftsmanship.
    Sure it sounds sublime. Enjoy!!!

The body shape is very reminiscent of the old Washburn Wing series. Nice...

It does predate Winged Series and some alledge Washburn pinched the look but I've not read evidence of any link official or otherwise .
