Tonebender 1 and 1.5 clone build - Best modern transistors to replace likes of OC75 TI2G381 NKT275

Hi there.

I have already build a Tonebender 1.5 clone which I like a lot.

For that I used the only Germanium transistors I had which were GS109C

I would now like to build another one and also a Tonebender Mark 1.

Obviously I can no longer buy the original transistor types so I was wondering what people would recommend as replacements.

F.Y.I. I am not interested in expensive NOS parts, just looking for a modern inexpensive close spec'd part.

Hi.   I have a stock of quite a lot of original 1960s newmarket germanium transitors for sale if want to buy one or two directly.   I can test for gain and leakage etc for you first if you want    Ive used them in my own FF and Tonebender builds.

I have only tried one other fuzz a Silicon Dunlop Fuzz Face and I don't like it at all. The TB 1.5 is miles ahead for me.
