Re Guitar finishing

hi, new member here !
I have just stained a tele style body, and have used Crimson finishing oil to finish off.....I have used this before with good results.
I wondered does anyone know if you can then polish this finish, it looks great as is, but for extra shine or buff can I do that ??

Yes. I've just done one with oil over stain, rubbed back with 000 wire wool, then used compound polish and a buffer. I waxed over the top to finish.

Let the oil dry a bit first.
