Thinking bout a partsmaster baritone build

It's been a while since I've built something and started to feel the itch. I've got a baritone conversion neck, having converted a partscaster back to normal (and donated to my daughter).

I'm thinking mahogany Jazzmaster finished using Crimson stain, and (controversially) twin Railhammer Chisel humbuckers. Why these pickups? I tried a Rev Descent with these once and thought they suited the shorter scale baritone format really well. I might see if I can use the rhythm circuit as some sort of bass cut control, although would quite like a really simple control config like a Jazzblaster.

Choices, choices, choices...

I've been thinking the same recently. I have a Tele body I made a few years ago but did nothing with, and I've never had a baritone so that would make for something different and new for me.

I swither between doing a scratch build or getting one of these Squier Affinity JMs and converting it. Might price up the options which would probably help me decide...
