Handwired and built in Doncaster. Switchable between 20/40w and comes with matching Hiwatt 2x12 cab.

I looked at one of these on my eternal tone quest.  I even booked a trip to the factory, though never made it.  GLWS.  Does it have solid state rectification?

a brilliant amp that is too much for a bedroom player.  no love for hiwatt at the moment or am I pricing too high?

I'm a little tempted by it but it would be a punt as a home rig and as such priced far too high for me to do so..especially as a Lazy J20 will be landing in next month or two!

^ This. Tempting amp. I'd be tempted to trade my Nomad for it, which is perfect for home use, but not sure if the studio/stage has an fx loop? I was thinking Hurricane but it would have to sound momentous to persuade me on that front.

It doesn't have an effects loop sadly.

Lovely amps - one of the new MG Hiwatt's better offerings. Don't be worried about FX Loops- Hiwatts love their front end being pampered with pedals.

You said about price- I reckon £750 is top eBay rate- maybe £50-100 over odds- a MkIII combo went for 650 recently.on the Gilmour forum.

Ok. That is consistent with Nomad values. It's a 45w4x10 with a headphone out. Brilliant home rig and very versatile. It has an effective 12 channels, of which 3 are switchable at any one time. Valve reverb. Fx loop. Footswitch.

it's one of the good ones, if that makes sense.
