Telecaster Thinline with F-Hole - pickguard

Will someone please advise me - will a standard Tele pickguard encroach upon the F-hole on a Thinline tele?

    You could go down the Acoustasonic route. I seem to remember that the Merle Haggard model had a similar scratchplate too.
