Dogear-PAF

Curtis Novak make a dogear PAF humbucker that will apparently fit a normal dogear rout. Has anyone here tried one? I'm not massively impressed by the P90 in my 2020 Les Paul Jr and have the urge to mod the guitar by changing the pickup. Leaving aside the issue of cost – which is substantial once tax, shipping, etc. is added – does a single humbucker (close to the bridge) on an LPJ sound like a good idea?

Thanks. Sounds like a good alternative at less than half the cost of the Curtis Novak PAF.

I have a Seymour Duncan pickup that amounts to a JB humbucker under soapbar P90 cover. I have tried this in a PRS SE One guitar with a tone control modification. 

Usually, I get annoyed with the JB90 and revert to my usual Antiquity P90 single coil.
