Thanks, took a lot of work to get the walls like it is, seriously, lots and lots of plasterboard and batten removal in a high ceiling room. It's lovely and cool in the summer but not any colder in the winter.

love it, build quality tip top, sound quality tip top. I love it that much that I will soon(weds or thurs) be the owner on a R5 aswell.

Taken the plunge. R1 arrives tomorrow. Really hope I don’t love it as much as you as I can’t afford an R5.

I missed this on the day.. Happy birthday sir. I was listening to some T Rex on your old Project Elemental on the weekend. I'll have a look at Ruark but it looks like the sort of stuff I'll get obsessed with

They are superb, a real lifetime purchase. 

One tip which seems to be the normal with all lifestyle brands is the loudness option is default to 'on', turn it off and start from there.
