Help and advice on gaming headset for xbox one

Hi  my young lad needs yet another set, could someone recommend a set that are built to last please, preferably wired

I use a steelseries arctis 5. Comfy, lightweight, good sound, excellent mic. I use it for gaming and for video calls with work, and a few colleagues have followed suit as the mic quality was better than their headsets.

I had a Turtle beach wireless set.....had so much trouble I sent them back....ended up with the TB Elite wired set, ..they sound good but the volume and mute is in a bad location, .

I suppose I more saying the bad bits.....they seem well built .

if I had to choose again next time I wont go Turtle beach...mainly due to their bad customer service.

may look at the Razor Kraken stuff....seems popular.

My son has a Astro A10 headset and thay have been solid for two years now.

I have had to replace the cable a few times as my son likes to chew on it as he plays. But as the cable plugs in at both ends it is easy done. The type that have the cable wired into the headset get trashed in no time

I should say, my primary criteria was comfort as a gaming session following work can mean I'm wearing them for upwards of 10 hours.

I got the wired version, and for ps4.

Had problem after problem with Turtle Beach headsets, now my lads have Hyper X and Steelseries ones and have no problems.
