iMac pc speakers

Can anyone recommend a decent pair of speakers for my iMac pc.

Don’t want to have a sub woofer.

Just for playing music at the mo, but may look at playing guitar through them in the future.
Am tempted by the Bose companion 20 but at 200 quid that could go to another guitar

Ikmultimedia iLoud micro monitors are fantastic small speakers. Check out YouTube reviews. There is good reason they’ve been adopted by plenty of recording studios for editing work.  

Presonus eris 3.5 are cheaper and quite good also
