Fender FSR Hot Rod Strat HH RW Flat Hot Rod Red

There were only 250 of these made in each colour, so a rare thing. In generally great condition but with the distinct dings, as pictured, otherwise only very superficial marks and the neck is clean.  It has a satin finish which has rubbed off around the marks but it still looks damned nice.  Comes with the deluxe Fender gig bag.

Currently set-up with 10s, although I think it would likely suit 9s better.  Action is currently around 1.5mm on the high E and I’ve just had a tech re-cut the nut, so it can go lower.

£450 delivered.  Neck will be removed for postage.  Otherwise, collection from CA7 area.

This is a bespoke guitar made by hand by a genuine luthier (http://www.rlpguitars.com), not a Partscaster - this cost over £2,000 new. It is an absolutely top class instrument that is as good as any Telecaster I've played. It is currently setup with 10s and has a very fast neck. I have the action at around 1.25mm on the high E, which is maybe a bit low for some tastes but it's very easily adjusted. The neck has an oiled/satin finish that feels wonderful.

Sapele body with a quilted birds eye maple top
Three piece maple and walnut neck with an ebony fretboard 12" radius
    Jumbo frets
    Modern slim C shaped neck
    Gotoh locking tuners
    Babicz full contact bridge
    Bare Knuckle Yardbird pickups
4 way switching (bridge; series; neck; parallel)
    Gator case
     Weight: 8.5lb

Since I acquired the guitar, it has been refinished from its original green to the black/charcoal you see. It was reassembled and setup my master luthier Haydn Williams (https://williamsguitars.co.uk).

There's a lot of info on how it was built by hand on the luthier's website: https://www.rlpguitars.com/single-post/2016/06/29/RLP-Sovereign-1?fbclid=IwAR1mVjo8aOixlmvo_Vzrq609Co82UXJr-pGr7RP8Xo8snViouPBb03VhIYg

    £SOLD

I will consider trades if it is for something mainstream but would expect a wee bit more in trade value.
