Changes in lifestyle...

What's Hot
..anyone made any?

I have made a fair few..

Massive(MASSIVE) meat eater now hardly have any.

Sweet stuff, I have lost my Sweet tooth to the point that I have had crunchy nut cornflakes since I can remember but now it just tastes like a bowl of sugar.

Milk, I now have almond, cashew or oat milk.

Bread, hardly touch it,  might have toast for brekkie at the weekend but that's it. Instead of sarnies at work I have carrot sticks and cherry toms instead. Maybe a bit of hummus some days.

Did you know that if you give up drinking smoking, eating meat, watching porn, and gambling you won't actually live longer but it will bloody feel like it

I gave up sugar (as in adding it to tea and coffee), and gave up smoking.

Lifes a lot less rock and roll and I feel no benefits yet either lol.

I also gave up gluten, but thats because I have a disease so guess that doesnt count, but it still gives me ptsd when I’m in a room of people eating the good stuff lol.

No way I could give up milk or meat though!
The only easy day, was yesterday...

I gave up dairy, caffeine and alcohol, and there are some foods I can no longer eat.

I'm now officially a pain in the arse when not eating at home.

That’s been the biggest lifestyle change for me. No more airports and hotels. No more hours spent driving. No more days of back to back conference calls and meetings.

Not quite me, but much to my parents horror my seven year old has become vegan after a visit to their farm last year.  I’ve joined in because it’s easier.  It’s bloody expensive even buying things like soap.

I have *massively* reduced my sugar intake and haven’t eaten a single thing with pastry/breadcrumbs since beginning of last year...although I am now craving a sausage roll, fuck sake.
Have probably walked more in the last twelve months than I have in the last twenty years...this will continue post-pandemic.
Used to love cider from my late teens...nowadays I can’t stand the stuff (although I’ll have a proper Scrumpy on very very rare occasions).
Glass of red wine with dinner is pretty much standard nowadays...wasn’t the case six months ago.
The last month or two I have finally found my true love for tea - I didn’t hate it before but I probably had a cup of it once every few weeks or so...now I have about three or four cups a day. Pretty odd.

That decision might well be a lifesaver, I had diabetes for years without knowing it.

I've been cutting out bread and beer because it makes me feel like crap.

I think I need to have some kind of test.

Still eating tons of crap meaning I've got a big old beer gut despite running 120k a month.

Been keto for nearly 2 years, so no sugar) carbs. Lost over 7 stone. Been running 3-4 times a week since Christmas. Wish I'd done all of this 10 years ago.

It takes a little while.  You feel as though you should be doing more but I found it good just to ease in to it.  Although I felt as though I'd already wound down as retirement approached I think that, in reality, it took me a further three months to truly relax.

I said that I'd give it three months before even considering any consultancy work.  The pandemic meant that wasn't going to happen anyway but I really couldn't imagine going back now.

Some time ago everybody else in my household went vegetarian, which meant (since preparing my own meals all the time would be a pain, and sharing meals with family is a social thing...) that I went along with them. I still buy myself the odd lunchtime treat from time to time, and enjoy meat when we eat out but these days I am by and large vegetarian too.

Perfectly happy with that as there is plenty of good, tasty veggie food (pre-prepared or recipes to make at home) about - can’t say that I’ve noticed any health benefits, but then it hasn’t done me any harm either! :-)
Don't ask me, I just play the damned thing...

I tick all those boxes but I'm fun I promise hahaha.

More importantly, are you married to a witch?Because if you are the stuff on that list is how you successfully distract yourself.
