Book has just landed on my mat 10 mins ago Taff.....looking forward to getting stuck into it.
 A quick flick through suggests l was on a similar path back in the day..
My first Guitar was also a Jedson..... I paid £27 for it too.... Scandalous.!!!    Haha

Got the book a few days ago and finished reading it last night.  Very enjoyable, a lighthearted look at the music business, some laughs - what more can anyone ask for?  Well done Taff and best wishes on your playing retirement from another old gigging warrior from the nineteen seventies.

We all clearly read at the same pace.  I finished it today as well.  Really enjoyed it.  Some great stories.  Being in Dorset I recognised some of the pubs ( Weymouth and Dorchester mainly), which added to it but the overall insight to band life and the joy you had from it shines through.  

Now for volume 2,  "Life in local Radio".   Come on spill the beans, we know its all drugs and groupies.
