Overdrive - Boss ME-50 Natural mode
Fuzz - Boss FZ-2/Behringer Super Fuzz
    Boost - don’t use one
    Distortion - Boss DF-2
    EQ - don’t use one
    Chorus - Boss ME-50
    Reverb - Boss ME-50
    Phaser - Boss ME-50
    Delay - Boss ME-50

    :)

Yes really... I A/B’d the ME-50 against good standalone pedals for all those and it either sounded the same or better - that includes an original MIJ CE-2.

    Overdrive- Boss SD1
Fuzz- Tonebender mkii (I use a clone)
Boost Don't use one but when I do a Boss GE-7 with the output whacked up
Distortion- Don't really use one but Boss Blues Driver whacked to 9 o clock is as heavy as I get.
    EQ- Boss Ge-7
Chorus Boss CS-3. I understand the CE-2 love, but I prefer the sparkle that only the CS-3 has.
    Reverb Digitech Hardwire
    Phaser MXR Phase 90
Delay Space Echo. Would love to play through an original tape unit but my Boss does the job.

These aren't the best pedals ever, but they are the ones I've had which I've enjoyed the most:

    Overdrive - Joyo Sweet Baby
Fuzz - Behringer Super Fuzz SF300
    Boost - EHX LPB1
    Distortion - Proco Deucetone Rat
EQ - Only ever had a Joyo 6 band eq...
Chorus - Digitech Whammy V in detune
Reverb - Zoom G3 or Multistomp
    Phaser - never used one
    Delay - Boss DD7

Can I also add the following types to that list:
    Pitch - Digitech Whammy V
Compressor - Marshall Ed the Compressor
Utility - Boss LS2 line selector

Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

  • This is a great idea for a thread. I am not much of a chorus or EQ user, so I've swapped those out for compression and rotary speaker pedals.

Overdrive Colorsound Overdriver, Vick Audio Tree of Life
    Fuzz
-Germanium Fuzz Face: Analogman Sunface NKT red dot
-Silicon Fuzz Face: Elephant Pedals Silicon BC108/BC108C
-Other fuzz: Colorsound Fuzz (three knob)
    Boost Colorsound Overdriver
    Distortion Sam Ash Fuzzz Boxx
    Compressor Gurus Optivalve
Rotary Korg G-4 Rotary Speaker SImulator
Reverb EHX Holy Grail, although I prefer using my Twin Reverb
Phaser MXR Phase 90, although I have very limited experience with phasers
    Delay Cicognani Pompeii PE-603

    Overdrive - Nobels odr-s
    Fuzz - any tonebender
    Boost - don't use it
    Distortion - Katzenkonig/Hudson broadcast
    EQ - Don't use
Chorus - generally not a fan but moogerfooger clusterflux would be my choice.
Reverb - again don't really use so I will say eventide space
    Phaser - moogerfooger mf103
    Delay - moogerfooger mf104m

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
