New Friedman amp, the BE-MINI 30 Watt and solid state?

Looks like the rumours from yesterday were true and it's bloody cheap! I just wonder if they are still made in the USA or elsewhere?

This could be a fun little amp. Rather pricey compared to the Orange Micro Dark or Joyo Bantamps though.

Not really in the same bracket though, as in Friedman is normally 'Made In the USA' and considered more high end, so I think will be interesting to see where they are actually being made.

I want one, I already have a BE OD pedal so I guess that’s halfway there.

  Wonder if these will be hard to get hold of , I can see people going mad for them

A large part of it at least will be made in China.

It will probably have the same ice power class D amp in it that everything uses so it doesn't really matter where they screw it together.

You only get the haunting mids if the Chinese components are assembled by Mexicans in the good old USA.

I can’t wait for all the influencers to fawn over it because it has Friedman on the face cover and cost to much money for what it really is. It’s a very expensive Vox MV rock

They will sell bucket loads of these, sums up the guitar world really, amp builders want to build high end gear, but the cheap crap sells by the truck load and pays the bills.

A Vox MV Rock retails at £169 in the uk (that is the price at Guitar Guitar) this amp better be doubly good for what they will want for it. It won’t be but it says Friedman on the front

If you were a kid starting out in 2021 then you have access to all this amazing cheap gear, we old farts can whine and whinge, but for the ones just starting on the guitar journey, this stuff is great!

Greedy or not, if it sounds good and the controls work properly with a decent range then I'll be having one of these for sure to compliment my HX for those times where I just want to plug straight into an amp at home.

I bet my cheap gear old Peavey Transtube studio would sound just as good as this amp... and I still want my old one back.
